Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026.

This policy explains what Triviarcade collects and why. The short version: we store your game scores against a random anonymous ID, and nothing that identifies you personally. We never sell your data.

Anonymous identity

Triviarcade does not require an account. When you first open the app we create an anonymous device identifier (via Supabase anonymous auth) so we can save your daily run and place you on the leaderboard. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number. Reinstalling the app generates a new identifier.

Gameplay data

We store your answers, timings, score, and leaderboard position for each daily run. This is necessary to run the game and the leaderboard.

Service providers

We share the limited data above only with Supabase, which provides the anonymous authentication and database hosting for your runs and the leaderboard. It processes this data only to run the game and the leaderboard. We do not sell your data or share it for unrelated purposes.

No ads or tracking

This version of Triviarcade shows no ads and contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites. If a future version introduces optional ads, we will update this policy and show any required consent prompts before they run.

Data we do NOT collect

No name, email, contacts, precise location, photos, or microphone access.

Data retention

We keep your run history and leaderboard entries while your anonymous identifier is active so the game and your history keep working. When you request deletion (below) we remove it within 30 days. Reinstalling the app abandons the old identifier and its data is periodically cleaned up.

Your rights

You can access or delete the data tied to your anonymous identifier at any time. Because we hold no name or email, the in-app identifier is how we locate your data - see the steps on the Data Deletion page. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU under GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have additional rights to access or erase your data; contact us and we will help.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of all data tied to your anonymous identifier at any time via our Data Deletion page.

Children

Triviarcade targets a 12+/Teen audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
